Competition Overview
Nature Competition

Open to members of MAPV-affiliated photo clubs.

Subjects include birds, wildlife, macro, water, grand landscapes, and intimate landscapes.

Up to six (6) images per member across these categories.

Strict rules emphasize authenticity—no obvious studio work, generative fill, or human-made elements. Edits like cropping, color adjustments, HDR composites, and focus stacking are allowed.
Photo Art Competition

Also open to club members only.
-
For creative, non-nature imagery—such as street scenes, portraits, abstract, urban, and fine-art photography.

Up to six (6) entries per member.

Final images must originate from in-camera photographs by the submitter. Generative fill, pre-built app textures, or unauthorized composites aren’t permitted.
Important Submission Dates

Submissions Open: August 10, 2025

Last Day to Submit Entries: September 7, 2025

Note: Earlier entries flagged for rejection may be replaced up to one week before closing. After that, no replacements can be submitted.
Judging kicks off mid-September, with winners announced by October 3, 2025—just ahead of the live exhibition.
