This year’s lineup features a stellar roster of internationally recognized photographers, instructors, and creative visionaries:
- Moose Peterson – world‑renowned wildlife & aviation photographer, Nikon USA Ambassador, keynote speaker for the event
- Joe Brady – acclaimed educator, author, and workshop leader, delivering engaging presentations on creating impactful landscape photography
- Essdras M. Suarez – two‑time Pulitzer Prize–winning photojournalist and global visual storyteller
In addition, you’ll find a robust selection of sessions, presentations, and hands‑on workshops—from light painting and macro photography to travel and abstract art—led by talented instructors including:

Nature & Photo Art Competitions
- Submissions open: August 10, 2025
- Submission deadline: September 7, 2025
- Judging period: mid‑September through end of September
- Award winners will be announced on October 3, 2025, and there will be People’s Choice voting at the event
These competitions offer two categories:
- Nature – celebrate authenticity and natural beauty in landscapes, wildlife, plants, and more.
- Photo Art – explore digital artistry, composites, creative editing, and fine‑art photography.
Winning images will be showcased both online and during the MAPV event.
Student Photo Competition
- Open to: High school students (and rising 9ᵗʰ graders) in Washington, DC, and surrounding counties of MD & VA
- Submissions window: April 28 – May 12, 2025
- Grand Prize: $500 and nine $100 finalist prizes
- The student competition is free to enter, and the submitted images will be displayed in the student gallery during MAPV.

While general admission to the show is free, Speaker Presentation Passes and Hands‑On Workshop tickets are available for purchase and space is limited.
