Raptor Photo Shoots

Here’s your chance to photograph powerful raptors outdoors in a natural environment. Raptors provided by EarthQuest, Inc. will include a Red Tailed and Harris Hawk, an Eagle Owl named “Bubo”, a Peregrine Falcon, and a Vulture. EarthQuest is a non-profit organization that provides environmental and conservation education by utilizing non-releasable birds of prey. This year’s workshop will be held at Upton Hill Regional Park, approximately 15 minutes from GMU – George Mason Square. Participants will need to provide their own transportation.

Sessions are offered at the following times:             

• 9:00 – 10:00
• 10:45 – 11:45     
• 12:15 – 1:15          
• 1:45 – 2:45

Choose your preferred time when purchasing your ticket. And please note that the Raptor photo shoot is also offered at these times on Sunday.
