Jeff Mauritzen
Jeff Mauritzen’s photographic assignments and adventures have immersed him in vivid landscapes across all seven continents and more than 60 countries. Whether photographing penguin antics in Antarctica or polar bears in the Arctic, his work reflects an enduring sense of curiosity, respect, and awe for the natural world. His photography has appeared in hundreds of publications, including more than two dozen National Geographic books, National Geographic Traveler magazine articles, The Wall Street Journal, Lonely Planet guidebooks, BBC Travel, and in a recent installation at the Smithsonian National Museum of American History. Jeff is also a seasoned photography educator, guiding, and lecturing on natural history–focused expeditions worldwide for National Geographic Expeditions. In addition to his editorial and expedition work, he collaborates with global brands and Fortune 500 companies, bringing the same storytelling approach to commercial and corporate photography.
